    April 7th update:

Robbie Grossman is now on the Chicago White Sox Major league roster. They’re 1-8. He signed an MiLB deal is making the minimum currently. The Reds GM Nick Krall did not address the LHP issue in any capacity, Grossman would’ve been a great get for this Reds organization. An article will come out later on who the Reds could potentially trade for to bridge a huge issue. Subscribe for more.

    Bally gets bailed out

The accessibility of sports content is crucial for fostering widespread engagement and enjoyment among diverse audiences. Allowing people to watch sports in the manner they prefer, without imposing exorbitant costs, promotes inclusivity and broadens the reach of athletic events. In today’s digital age, the traditional model of exclusive broadcasting rights tied to expensive cable packages is becoming increasingly outdated. Affordability is a key factor that enables fans from various socioeconomic backgrounds to access their favorite sports content seamlessly.

By offering cost-effective and flexible viewing options, sports organizations and broadcasters can attract a wider demographic. Not everyone can afford high-priced cable subscriptions or premium sports channels, and demanding such expenditures may alienate potential fans. Embracing diverse viewing preferences, whether through free-to-air broadcasts, affordable streaming services, or pay-per-view models, ensures that sports enthusiasts can tailor their viewing experience to align with their individual preferences and financial capabilities.

Moreover, accessible sports content contributes to the communal aspect of sports fandom. When people can watch games without financial barriers, it encourages a sense of shared passion and collective celebration. Whether it’s gathering at a friend’s house, joining a local sports bar, or engaging in virtual watch parties through affordable streaming platforms, the ability to watch sports without a hefty price tag fosters a sense of community and camaraderie among fans.

In conclusion, the importance of allowing people to watch sports affordably and in the manner they prefer lies in promoting inclusivity, expanding the fan base, and enhancing the communal experience of sports fandom. Embracing diverse viewing options not only caters to the financial realities of a broad audience but also ensures that the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie reaches as many individuals as possible.

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, I don’t have specific information about the Reds and Diamond Sports Group broadcasting games. Broadcasting arrangements and partnerships can change, and I recommend checking the latest news or the official websites of the Cincinnati Reds and Diamond Sports Group for the most up-to-date information on their broadcasting agreements.

Typically, sports teams collaborate with broadcasting entities to ensure that their games reach a wide audience. This partnership involves not only television broadcasts but also streaming services and radio broadcasts. The goal is to make the games accessible to fans through various channels, allowing them to follow their favorite team regardless of their location.

If there have been updates or changes to the broadcasting agreements involving the Cincinnati Reds and Diamond Sports Group since my last update, I recommend checking reliable sports news sources or the official websites of the teams and broadcasters for the latest details.

Lyon Richardson – High Leverage Reliever or Starting Pitcher?

One thing I’d like to see the #Reds do, although not necessary:

Begin transitioning Lyon Richardson into a high leverage reliever.

We have a surplus of starters, and this guy has the moxie, and arsenal to handle that role.

His slider improved, curveball is swell, and his changeup is a perfect set up pitch to change eye levels on batters with his rising fastball.

This kid is an extremely slept on piece of the Reds that doesn’t get much attention because he was thrown to the wolves in ’23, simply because we had so many guys injured, and he was already on the 40 man. It’s easy to forget he didn’t pitch at all in ’22 due to TJ, and him in a relief role would also aid in protecting him with health.

To reiterate, not necessary, and there’s nothing wrong with keeping him as a starter, I’m really high on him there as well, but I really think he could be a huge piece to our bullpen, and for him, potentially make him even more money.

The best comparison for him is Michael Lorenzen. Lyon, like Mike, was a two way player out of the draft.
