Joe Flacco met with media this afternoon on Halloween Day but provided some less than spooky news. He is saying that he feels “good” and will likely play on Sunday. Subscribe to our Newsletter by using the popup or the form below!

We wrote about Joe Flacco’s injury status earlier this week, and mentioned that it was unclear if he’d play yet or not. Today’s press conference gives us pretty good instillment that he will indeed play on Sunday. He, in his own words, said “I just wanted to test it on Thursday a bit before saying yes or no.”
He also mentioned that he doesn’t oft talk about injuries, so that tells me he feels pretty confident that he’ll be a full go on Sunday in a MUST win game for the Cincinnati Bengals.
Joe Flacco Injury
In case you missed it, Ian Rapoport reported that he has an AC joint issue (sprain) in his shoulder and is considered day to day. Jake Browning is still preparing to be starting for the Bengals on Sunday against the Chicago Bears, in case Joe Flacco cannot go. That is merely a backup plan. The Bengals feel like Flacco can manage the load with his shoulder.
