NASCAR Parntnering With the MLB
Jordan Bianchi, renowned NASCAR reporter for The Athletic, today is reporting that Major League Baseball & NASCAR have joined forces and are bringing the two most historic MLB teams together for a showcase at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, TN. One would figure the two teams selected for this showcase due to geographical location. Tennessee is known Reds Country paired with Braves Country. One of the Reds affiliates, Chattanooga Lookouts, is stationed southwest of Bristol and at the state of Tennessee’s bottom corner, which is labeled Braves Country by many.
When Is This Happening?
Right now the only information we have is that it will occur in 2025’s season. The date is TBA and the location is known to be Bristol Motor Speedway. The venue has never seen something like this with Major League Baseball, so as details arise, we’ll update you on this article. It’s likely that the venue turns to the infield grass once more to build out the start of the field. Major League Baseball declined to comment, per the linked article, but is expected to announce this series on Friday of this week.
